The birth doula training is ideal for anyone who is wanting to get started as a doula or receive more training on particular topics around birth support, client advocacy, and business.

The birth assistant training is ideal for any current birth workers with prior training under their belts or anyone taking the birth doula training who'd also like to birth assist. This training will qualify and equip you to assist licensed midwives and certified nurse midwives in the home birth setting.

Become an NRP provider, and get your NRP card! NRP is ideal for any birth worker who attends live births in any setting and is absolutely essential for the birth assist, so if you are registering for the birth assist course, you will also want to register for this one as well.

To register, you can book online here or email Christina Stout at wildmoonmidwife@gmail.com.

Birth Story Circle

The power of storytelling is this: to bridge the gaps where everything else has crumbled." -Paulo Coelho

There are heaps of wisdom, far more valuable than gold, in every birth story that serve to help us prepare for and launch into our own journey's as parents and serves to deepen our understanding of life in general. Come join us the first Monday of every month at Mullen Family Chiropractic from 6:30-8 pm as a new couple/mother from our community comes to share their birth stories and the wisdom they learned along the paths they've traveled. Light snacks and free resources will be available. There is no childcare on-site; however, there is a small area for children 0-18 months to play with supervision by their parent. There are also a limited number of chairs. Please bring your own seating if possible, whether it's a lawn chair, cushion, yoga block, or a blanket.

Dallas and Elizabeth Brabant

"People talk about the exhaustion and they talk about the joy of parenting, but no one told me of the soul deep changes, the trauma you can finally heal and the discovery of untapped power and presence that comes with transitioning to motherhood. As a self proclaimed "science hippy", allow me to share my journey from "why would anyone turn down 21st century cutting edge technology to keep their birth 'safe'" to home-birthing twins in my bathtub 4 years later." -Elizabeth Brabant

Ben and Alisa Cryer

Ben and Alisa are transplants to the Wenatchee valley a little over 5 years ago. They quickly fell in love with Wenatchee’s people and offerings and bought a home here. Ben is professional videographer, entrepreneur/business maverick, and Jesus-follower, while Alisa is a speech-language pathologist and doula and birth assist in training. When they are not working on their 1950’s house, they can likely be found hiking, biking, playing card games, making homemade pizza for their friends, or staring at pictures of their daughter who has just fallen asleep in the next room. The have been married for almost 11 years and are the recently-minted parents of the adorable one-year old Ellie Rae.
